Barbara's love of writing developed out of a love of reading. Growing up in an all-boy neighborhood, she spent quite a bit of time reading through her mother's large library, many of which were romantic novels. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara, she went into Public Relations, but soon discovered that writing was her true passion. Barbara was traditionally published for many years, then formed her own publishing company FOG CITY PUBLISHING in 2011 and has since sold over 10 million books! She has published 75 novels ranging from mystery thrillers to romantic suspense and contemporary romance. Her book SUMMER SECRETS was a #1 New York Times bestseller! And twenty-five other novels have also appeared on the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller Lists. She is currently writing two ongoing series, a contemporary romance series set in Whisper Lake and a romantic suspense series: Off The Grid: FBI Series. She is also known for her bestselling Callaway Family Series, which offers up fourteen books and two novellas. When Barbara isn't writing or publishing, which isn't very often these days, she is playing tennis, hanging out with friends and family in beautiful Lake Tahoe or reading books!

Becky Lee Weyrich
Becky Lee Weyrich, a native Georgian, was born on Margaret Mitchell's birthday, in a hospital that later became a library, and she was named for Daphine DuMaurier's REBECCA. So it seems only fitting she would become a writer. But before taking pen in hand , she spent her early career as a professional Navy wife and mother of two. For seventeen years she moved with her aviator husband from base to base, living in such diverse locations as Maine, Maryland, California, Flordia and Naples, Italy. Then returning to Georgia she resided on St. Simons Island for 24 years. She sold her first piece of fiction at the age of ten (to The Altanta Journal Magazine) and continued writing as a regional columnist, feature writer and historical novelist until retiring in 1999 when she became addicted to Golf. She began publishing fiction in 1978. She has written for various publishers in a variety of genres, including historical romance, fantasy, saga, Gothic, horror/mystery, contemporary and time travel. In 1991, she won Romantic Times magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award for New Age Fiction 1992, awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Career Achievement in Historical Fantasy and Reviewers' Choice Certificate of Excellence for "Sweet Forever" (Pinnacle Books, May 1992). Beginning as a nonfiction writer in 1960, she did freelance work for several newspapers and magazines. She also wrote and illustrated two of poetry before turning full time to fiction. A member of Romance Writers of America and a board member of Southeastern Writers' Association, Weyrich is the originator of the Becky Lee Weyrich Fiction Award, presented annually at the Southeastern Writers' Workshop on St. Simons Island, Georgia. After roaming the world as a Navy wife, the Georgia-born author now resides in a vintage beach cottage on St. Simons Island with her husband. Betina Krahn (born Huntington, West Virginia) is a RITA Award winning and New York Times best-selling author of historical romance novels. Krahn, born Betina Maynard, is the second daughter of Dors Maynard and Regina Triplett. Krahn learned to read at the age of four, and began making up her own stories when she was only six. In fifth grade she won a silver "Noble Order of Bookworms" pin for her achievements in reading, and the following year she began writing down her stories. Betty Brooks was born and raised in Palo Pinto County, the second eldest of eleven children. During her early years, she roamed the Palo Pinto Mountains with her brothers, developing a love for the outdoors that remains to this day. She became an avid reader in grade school and her love of books has stayed with her throughout the years. In 1953, she married her high school sweetheart. Two years later, he was drafted into the army. His military career spanned twenty years and brought the family (one son and two daughters) to Michigan, Minnesota, California, El Paso, TX, and Germany. When James retired in 1976, they moved back to their hometown of Mineral Wells, TX. There, Ms. Brooks began her writing career. Her first book, Savage Flame, was published by Zebra in March, 1987.
