Linda Sole was born in Swindon, Wiltshire, England, UK, the daughter of a schoolteacher and a ladies hairdresser who, after leaving high school at 15, worked in her father’s shop until she married. She ran her own hairdressing salon for a while, then gave it up to write and help her husband run his antique business. Her first success came in 1979 when, writing as Lynn Granville, she was accepted by Robert Hale. Success with Mills & Boon came soon after and Devil's Kin was published in 1981 as Anne Herries. She wrote 12 books for Mills & Boon before trying her hand at mainstream fiction. She has now written several books under her own name of Linda Sole and other pseudonyms. However, Mills & Boon remains one of her favorite publishers because of the friendly family atmosphere. She decided to write for them again while continuing her other work — it's a busy life, but fulfilling! Writing has always been a pleasure and is a dream come true for her. Living in Cambridgeshire, she is happily married and enjoys many other things in the company of her husband. Her main interests apart from writing are watching good films and reading other authors; also walking in the sun and swimming — mostly in Spain because it's warmer. Her main love, apart from her husband and writing, is for animals and birds. She loves feeding the squirrels that come regularly to her garden, as well as many varieties of birds — and even foxes during the recent bad weather. She says happiness comes from enjoying the good things around us.

Anne Hillerman

Anne Hillerman is an American journalist from New Mexico, and a New York Times best-selling author. The daughter of novelist Tony Hillerman, she continued her father's series of Joe Leaphorn-Jim Chee novels following his death. She is the daughter of novelist Tony Hillerman and his wife Marie Unzner, and was married to photographer Don Strel who died in 2020. Anne has served as arts editor and editorial page editor, as well as writer, for The Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper and the Albuquerque Journal. Her first books were primarily about travel, local New Mexico points of interest, and restaurants. She and Strel collaborated on Santa Fe Flavors: Best Restaurants and Recipes and Gardens of Santa Fe.

Anne Lamott

A novelist and writer of non-fiction, Anne Lamott was born in San Francisco in 1954. She wrote for the newspaper at Goucher College for the two years she attended. She wrote her first novel, Hard Laughter for her father after he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Howard Freeman's term "particularism" is aptly applied to her narrative nonfiction. Lamott draws on her own life and experiences in her writing, covering topics such as alcoholism, depression, being a single mother, Christianity, and the intersection between them.

Annelise Kamada

Annelise Florence Schuller whom served as AGMA [American Guild of Musical Arts] Head of Membership until her retirement in 1994, passed away on November 30, 1994. She began at AGMA as a secretary to then Assistant Executive Secretaries DeLloyd Tibbs and Howard Laramy before assuming the duties as Administrative Assistant. In 1983 she became Director of the Membership Department. Ms. Kamada worked for AGMA for thirty years. Annelise Kamada was born in New York city on May 2, 1929 to German Immigrants. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City to further her interests in design and drawing. In 1969 she married Toshi Kamada. Wales, its folklore, music and culture had been a special interest of Annelise. She was a member and supporter of the Women's Welsh Club of New York, serving most recently as its Corresponding Secretary; she was a New York City correspondent for NIN-NAU- a newspaper serving the Welsh community of North America. She was a member of the St.David's Society of the State of New York and the Welsh Congregational Church Eglwys Y Cymry, New York.

Anne Lorraine is a pseudonym of British romance fiction writer Lilian Mary Chrisholm.
